How do you choose a Professional, Contractor and Supplier? Every organization that decides to become a member needs to be well established. They should all have the proper licensing and the required state liability and workman compensation insurance. We also run acriminal background check as well as complete screening prior to accepting a membership. They also need to be an expert in their field and have solid refrences. We qualify and pre-screen every professional that would like to join our network.We have also complied a list of premier and elite professionals in the art of home decoration, renovation and remodeling within our network. They have been referred to us by word of mouth, newspaper articles, and special recognitions. Our suppliers are joining us through trade shows, trade journals, internet, referrals and many other associations.
How many estimates does a homeowner receives prior to starting a project?
The Homevision® has created two methods for homeowners to choose from:
A) Exclusive bid "e". Only one company bids for the project. The homeowner will receive a priority service to get the job done right away.
B) Multiple bids "m". 2-3 company bid for the project. We have a network of professionals that will provide two to three different estimates per homeowners request for more simple projects within a certain budget to be scheduled at a mutual convenient time for all parties involved.
We also have a network of premier and elite professionals that will exclusively estimate creative, luxury and complex renovation projects where high quality and workmanship is desired. It also depends on the size of the project, budget, and the complexity of it. It is up to the homeowners to decide and choose which direction they would prefer to go. Remember its not the quantity of the estimates that you get but rather the quality, skills and commitment of the organization that provides the estimate and plans.

Do all Professionals have to have a contractors licence?
No, not all trades or job sizes require a contractor licence. Check with your local state licensing board or resources section of our web site.
What should the homeowner expect when they meet the Professional(s) for the first time? Prior to homeowners meeting professional(s) for the first appointment, homeowners will receive an email from The Homevision® containing a complete profile information on the professional(s). This will allow the homeowners to know more about the organization that's going to meet them and give them an estimate. Then the homeowners will be contacted by a Pro(s) to set up an appointment. Homeowners should explain and discuss any questions or concerns that they might have about their projects. Professional(s) will provide you with all the information you need and will answer all your questions to help you make a sound decision. Homeowners should feel comfortable to check the professional(s) portfolios or prior jobs that they have done. Verify references, insurance information, bonding, contractors licence # (if its required) and ask for samples of materials prior to final decision. Homeowners should ask about workmanship guarantees or product warranties prior to signing the agreement with the professional(s).
How does The Homevision® gets paid? We get paid by our membership and the marketing fee that our members pay. These fees do not affect your estimates. Homeowners do not pay us for using our services. However we ask our homeowners to please be courteous and respectful to our professional's time, skills, knowledge and energy that they provide in order to help you with your projects.
